Toleriane Caring Wash Hydrating Cleanser 200ml

This hydrating facial cleanser is suitable for combination or dry skin. We do not recommend this product for oily skin types. For those with oily skin, we recommend cleansers from the Effaclar range, such as the Effaclar + M Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser.

The Toleriane hydrating cleanser does remove makeup. However, to ensure effective removal of makeup and sunscreen, we recommend using our Micellar Water Sensitive Makeup Remover first, followed by the cleanser. Using a dedicated makeup remover first ensures all traces of makeup, sunscreen, and impurities are thoroughly dissolved and removed, allowing your cleanser to effectively clean your skin, prevent clogged pores, and prepare it for optimal absorption of your skincare.

A hydrating cleanser is often formulated with dry, sensitive skin in mind. These cleansers often have a creamy, milky texture that cleanses gently without stripping the skin's natural moisture barrier. In contrast, a foaming cleanser typically creates a rich lather and is often preferred by those with normal to oily skin, as they effectively remove excess oil and impurities.

Niacinamide is beneficial for dry skin because it helps to improve the skin's natural barrier function. It achieves this by boosting the production of ceramides, essential lipid molecules that keep the skin plump and supple and encourage moisture retention, ultimately helping your skin better defend itself against external aggressors.
