CC cream (either called a colour corrector or complexion corrector) is a multi-use make-up product formulated to colour-correct and provide light-medium coverage for a more even, glowing complexion. It often contains a number of other ingredients, like niacinamide, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and, in some cases SPF, to provide additional benefits. CC creams usually offer lighter coverage than traditional foundations.

BB creams and CC creams are both products formulated to even out skin tone and minimise the appearance of redness and blemishes. BB creams are usually more lightweight, and formulated to provide light coverage, but also contain ingredients to moisturise and brighten the skin. CC creams, on the other hand, are often much thicker, are focused on coverage and colour correction to neutralise skin discolouration for a more even skin tone.
