Dr Stephanie Rea
Dr Stephanie Rea is a specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She completed her specialist dermatology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital, gaining extensive experience in medical, surgical and paediatric dermatology.
During her training, Dr Rea was awarded the Australasian College of Dermatologists’ prestigious Travelling Fellowship Prize for achieving the highest score in the national fellowship examinations enabling her to travel to the United States to spend time at the renowned Mayo Clinic.
Dr Rea holds dual masters degrees in Public Health and a Masters of Medicine degree in Sexual and Reproductive Health. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, the Clinical Lead of the Combined Dermatology and Sexual Health Multidisciplinary Clinic at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and is involved as a Consultant Dermatologist in a complex medical clinic at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Rea has published research in Australian and international peer-reviewed journals on acne, melanoma and complex medical dermatology. Her clinical interests include acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, genital dermatology, hidradenitis suppurativa, cutaneous lymphoma and complex medical dermatology.
