Dr Philip Singh, MBBS FACD IFAAD | Principal Dermatologist
Dr Philip Singh graduated with an MBBS from the University of Western Australia in 2005 and completed his intern training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Moving to Queensland, he held junior doctor positions in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. There he pursued his interest in Dermatology, initially working in private practice as a Clinical Assistant in Dermatology as well as holding a post as a Research Officer with the Dermatology Research Centre at The University of Queensland School of Medicine / Princess Alexandra Hospital where there was a focus on sun damage / skin cancer & inflammatory skin disorders.
Dr Singh was accepted onto the training program to undertake Specialist Dermatological training, which saw him studying the first few years in Queensland (with part of his time spent under the tutelage of a Plastic Surgeon), while the the final training years were here in WA working at all of Perth’s major tertiary teaching hospitals, before completing the rigorous specialty examination process to become a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2013.
After completing a stint gaining further subspecialty experience in South East Queensland focusing on Lasers, Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology, Dr Singh returned home to Perth where he is committed to offering the very best Dermatological experience through his private practice which was established with the intent of specifically having a Dermatologist provide Laser, Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology treatments in what has otherwise been geographically driven by cosmeticians / aestheticians. In addition, he provides a regional Visiting Medical Specialist service in Geraldton, and also holds a public teaching hospital post as a sessional Consultant Dermatologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
